Summer at the French Café - Sue Moorcroft

Description: Sparkling sun, strolls in the gorgeous French countryside, that first sip of cool, crisp wine – Summer is Kat’s favourite season. And this year should be no exception…

Review
In Summer at the French Café, Sue Moorcroft’s descriptions of the French village of Kirchhoffen sounds idyllic and evocative, but her leading characters are dealing with challenging and difficult issues, which Sue handles with sensitivity. There are, however, a gentle romance and new-found family bonds that evolve throughout the book which coupled with the sparkling sun, the beautiful scenery and an adorable pet, bring the book to a heart-warming and uplifting conclusion.  A perfect summer read!
