Sue has this wonderful ability to create a sense of place when she writes and in An Italian Island Summer, Sue transports us to Sicily, where her descriptions of the island are evocative and sun-drenched, as she leads her characters sharing delicious tastes and sights around the island.
Coupled with this she has also created a page-turning story about two families and a slow-burning romance that will keep you reading until the very end. An absolutely perfect summer read! Highly Recommended!
