In The Lucky Escape, Laura Jane Williams takes the reader on a journey of self-discovery, an exploration of relationships and unexpected outcomes. One of which involves a ‘honeymoon’ to Australia, and at a time when travel is so limited, her descriptions of the different locations are so evocative they provide many moments of pure escapism.
This delightful book is a heart-warming summer read!
