Why We Liked it
We are always delighted to receive a book by Jenny Colgan, but The Christmas Bookshop has particular magic attached to it. If you are looking for a book to curl up with pre-Christmas this is a wonderful example. Jenny’s descriptions of the old bookshop and Edinburgh are so atmospheric, you will be completely transported!
But as ever, it is in the description of her characters where Jenny weaves her magic, her observations are so clever you immediately become fascinated with them and want to stay to find out the outcome.
An utterly delightful Christmas read, we absolutely loved it! Highly Recommended!
