Why We Loved It
Four chapters in and reluctantly I turn off the light to go to sleep. If I could read all night I would!!
Lorraine’s books are always compelling, she has this wonderful intuitive way of writing, which is like a warm hug, you just want to stay turning page after delightful page!
The Couples Retreat is another brilliant example of Lorraine’s writing, which we have loved since reading her very first book.
If you are looking for the perfect summer read, this has everything – a slow-burn romance, a wonderfully escapist location, a cast of believable characters and a witty and sparkly dialogue.
